At icandiCQ we’ve been hard at work adding imagination, innovation and inspiration through Creative Intelligence (CQ) both internally and on a number of exciting projects for our clients…
Our brand rejuvenation, a project started more than a year ago, culminated with a revamp of our offices to align to our new corporate identity. Starting on the outside with new signage and a garden makeover, moving inside to a beautiful new interior that speaks to our brand. icandiCQ headquarters are looking fabulous!


We continue to grow our team to increase our CQ. Two new, incredibly talented, designers, Riaan and Anja, have joined us over the past few months; as well as our friendly new receptionist, Palesa. We also have a new addition to Client Service, with Amanda stepping on board to ensure efficient, friendly and speedy service.
icandiCQ is all about maximising intelligence in our professional disciplines and the services we offer. In early October, Ilona (our communication strategist) heads to London to attend the annual Melcrum Strategic Communication Summit. Rowena (our client service account manager) will be getting her black belt in internal communication at the Internal Communication Black Belt Programme in November. Look out for more news in the coming months, as they share CQ from both these events.

Following the brand rejuvenation for JSE listed company, Arrowhead Properties, we are now working on their annual report, revamping their website and various brand implementation and marketing activities that include online adverts, mobile branding (like their App) and more.
Internal communication and employee engagement is our speciality and with over 13 years’ experience in this field, clients recognise that icandiCQ is the agency to call on for strategic consultancy services and implementation of internal activities. An international specialist bank and asset manager has approached us to design, implement and add imaginative innovative inspiration to an internal change communication programme that will see employees co-create the company’s vision and strategic journey map.

icandiCQ recently completed an internal communication audit in Nedbank Retail, where we conducted qualitative and quantitative research across the country, among a sample audience of 770 that included all roles and levels up to and including Branch Manager level. The research measured the effectiveness of internal communication in the Bank and the findings were analysed and unpacked in a detailed report that included recommendations and solutions aligned to international best practice. The results of the survey provide Nedbank with feedback as well as indicators of areas where communication enhancements would be beneficial for the business going forward.
A seven month change communication programme has come to a successful end, where we played a consultative role, managing the communication workstream for a project that saw almost 500 employees change reporting lines and take on new roles.
In Business Banking, we’re on a journey where we are unpacking the client value proposition to employees through various communication activities, and we provide ongoing communication services – from developing educational material to communicating product and sales initiatives.
In Retail, Corporate Banking, Personal Banking and Group, we have been developing creative concepts, providing exceptional service and carefully executing communication activities, with the quality work we have become famous for.
icandiCQ also continues to add Creative Intelligence to marketing campaigns, working closely with the ATL, digital and BTL agencies within Nedbank, to ensure that campaigns are communicated as successfully internally, as externally – helping build brand ambassadors in the bank. This includes the launch of the new Nedbank App, which was recently launched in to Nedbank staff as part of the testing phase, before going to market.
Yes, there is a lot on the go at icandiCQ. We’re passionate about Creative Intelligence and look forward to sharing exciting news and inspiration as we head into the final months of 2012.
